I have been involved in athletics and fitness for as long as I can remember. I played baseball, football and basketball throughout high school and beyond. I enjoy running competitively and have completed three full marathons and countless 10Ks and half marathons.
After working in Manhattan for UPS for over 20 years, I changed careers and became a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). I founded Adrenaline Fitness in 2004 in Scottsdale, Arizona.
I have a strong passion for fitness and enjoy working with my clients to help them reach their goals and maintain their new lifestyles. I know that it takes working smart, discipline, consistency, and dedication.
During my training career, I have worked with kids and older people, competitive athletes, and people struggling with weight problems.
Before we begin any fitness program, regardless of the goal, I ensure that my client is moving optimally. Any deficiencies in range of motion will be corrected through the program I design. I strive to minimize risk for injury to ensure a LIFETIME of healthy exercise for each client.
My program consist of three basic principles
1- soft tissue work
2- mobility/ movement prep
3- strength work
Over the years I’ve learned so much and I continue to grow daily. My philosophy is that our bodies need both mobility and stability work. We can’t just train for strength, if we do we are doing our bodies a disservice which many times leads to injury. We must move our joints daily and work on good movement patterns that always keeps posture and biomechanics at the forefront.
My philosophy is we should train movements at the gym not muscles just as we move in real life and in the sports we enjoy playing. What we do in the gym should make everything we do in real life better. That’s why my philosophy works and I can help anyone improve their life. You will never be disappointed training with me.
